City Lights

If you have ever lost someone very important to you, then you already know how it feels; and if you haven't, you cannot possibly imagine it.

With cities, it is as with relationships: everything imaginable can be dreamed, but even the most unexpected acquaintance is a perplexity that conceals a desire or its reverse, fear. Cities, like two lovebirds hopelessly in love, are made of desires and fears, even if the thread of their disclosure is secret, their rules are absurd, their perspectives deceitful and everything conceals something else.

In light of the very inexplicable human nature that we unfortunately have to deal with sometimes, don't we all question what someone's true intentions are? As they said those who are heartless once cared too much. At one point of time in our lives, we capitulate to our desires and willingly become victims of conniving crooks.
