Days of us when we would take a leisure stroll in the park, taking in the scene of immense activity, feasting our eyes on the brightly colored flowers with every possible combination of hues and to again witness the beauty of the rest of nature's innumerable wonders.
Days of us when we would get tired of the world, instead relishing in the joy and comfort of our own space, whipping up a wholesome dinner for two and then playfully fighting over who gets the remote control first and call the shots for the night. Days of us when you would dread every shopping trip but follow suit anyway because you couldn't bear the thought of me being troubled with all the shopping bags that could beat me in size and possibly topple me over if I was all alone.
Now I'm thinking where are the remaining days of us?
It’s a shame you didn’t keep it, because once upon a time you had someone who gave up her own world just to be with you and you had every bit of nerve to turn your back on her and toss it all away for that one rock that didn't matter.
And it's a further shame that you only realized it when it was too late. Can’t you see that I've made it? Yeah I made it. First I made you who you are, and then I made it.
