Final teen year.

Honestly I really can't explain how much I loved and hated yesterday. When intoxication got the better of us, robbing us of our reliable senses and control of situation, we sometimes could not account for the things we did and the words that were hurled.

Not to mention being helplessly unconscious under the influence of a certain tablet due to our own reckless decision. It was indeed a near-death experience.

That few hours of living in complete paranoia not knowing if I would still wake up and see another day was petrifying enough to put me in place and teach me a very valuable lesson.

It wasn't all that bad. I was fortunate enough to be surrounded with caring souls who knew I was not used to that kind of high and made sure I was alright again. I didn't regret any of it one bit, though had vowed never to take that damn thing again, because so many turned up to celebrate my special day with me and they really made it a memorable one for me.

Everyone was dressed to the nines, enjoying the food and drinks that were served and just having a good time. What else could I ask for? They were a crazy bunch and they made it all perfect. It was only when the late night approached that things turned slightly sour.

I'd rather not go into detail to protect my friends' privacy but I would just say that it was really surprising that I didn't get into trouble or fined or anything because we had so many complaints the night before from the other hotel residents as we were pretty rowdy. The check-out though was as easy as a breeze and I was really glad I wasn't being interrogated and held responsible for any damages.

Despite everything, I still think I had the best time of my life and wouldn't change it for the world.
